Thank you for yet another superbly researched article!

Thank you, Ehden!

I am worried about the benighted people on the ACE inhibitor, Lisinopril, that

makes more ACE 2 receptors. Surely, there are other blood pressure medicines out there.

I am going to spread your SECRET!

ARBS like Olmesartan would be protective against spike issues.

Thank you, Jennifter!

Absolutely, Olmesartan (Benicar) is an ACE2 inhibitor, as opposed to an ACE inhibitor blood pressure drug.

Great comment!

Thanks! To quote myself from March 20, 2020: "Part of the complicated part is also the question of what to do about those medications while there is risk of infection - the consensus is, more information is needed. While having been on one of them may increase the risk of infection due to there being more ACE2 receptors than usual, stopping abruptly wouldn't immediately get rid of the extra ACE2 receptors and the medications, particularly the ARBs which block the ACE2 receptors may have a protective effect once exposure to the virus occurs. <that last part was found to be true. https://denutrients.substack.com/p/ace2-diarrhea-covid19-it-gets-complicated

Olmesartan is also safe for around the clock use. It is used in the Marshall Protocol for sarcoidosis and other TH1/TH2 imbalance conditions. I used it three times a day for a year and a half along with low dose antibiotics and it resolved a bad migraine problem I had. I still get them from mold but not all the other things that had become triggers. Some I still avoid.

Pomegranate peel protects ACE2 receptors from Spike - 12/2020 post https://denutrients.substack.com/p/pomegranate-peel-anti-covid19-may-block-ace2-receptor-access-to-the-sars-cov-2-virus

Solutions are being suppressed and activists keep talking about statistics more than solutions, imo, or only a favorite solution instead of the arsenal the body truly needs.

As always, thank you, Jennifer!

Ages ago, I used to get pomegranate peel powder from the Dr. Clark Store, but they stopped carrying it. It was delicious!

I have not seen any organic pomegranates in a long time to be able to derive any thing from the peel. Whole Foods used to have them. ... I am in an impecunious state and actually received a holiday present of two pomegranates from Trader Joes's!

THANKS AGAIN!'

That is wonderful for you! One or two peels, dried or frozen can last a long time at a 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon per serving inner pith. The outer rind stocks up even more as I don't need much for a batch of tea. I do use the commercial pomegranate peel too, especially the protected inner pith. The crop is lower pesticide/herbicide use than average as it is such a hardy plant. Organic are nicer but hard to find outside of Trader Joe's. The benefits I think would outweigh the risks. We get pesticide and herbicide residue on everything, even organic crops.
