WAS AN ENERGY WEAPON USED IN LAHAINA?

The mystery of a tree trunk, that BURST INTO FLAMES around 3:40pm on the day of the Lahaina Fires / Maui Fires.

Special investigation: why did this tree burst into flames?

This analysis was created thanks to a family who one of its members decided to document their evacuation. I found it on twitter in 3 parts. At 1:11 timestamp of the 1st video there was a 3 seconds video of a tree trunk on fire.

This was odd, because in the video, prior to the burning tree and after it, I saw no fire. Also, people were walking next to the tree. It was REALLY bizarre. I decided to find out where was the tree located, and this is what I found. First, let's look at Lahaina from the sea:

Now let's look at the first images of the 1st video, taken from the family home prior to evacuation. See these buildings? They were unique in It was very easy to find the family because Lahaina is a very small town. As you can see, the family lived in 894/6 Kuhua St.

Since the smoke/fire came from the mountain side, the only option they had was to leave their home and turn left, in Kuhua St, towards Lahainaluna Rd, which is what they did. According to the video, they left their home at 3:40.

At timestamp 1:09 the family were driving down Kuhua St, towards Lahainaluna Rd, and they passed these building to their left. I found their location on street view.

This brings us to the burning tree. If until now the camera was pointed towards the mountain, now it's pointed towards the see. The tree which its trunk has burst into fire was located at the corner of Kuhua St and Lahainaluna Rd. What was on the opposite side of the street?

On the opposite of the street WAS AN ELECTRICAL SUBSTATION!!! Street view was from 2011. According to google earth, there are no other trees on the road on both sides other than this tree. Power lines are on the other side of the street. Why did it burst into flames?

First, let's exclude the power grid. As you can see in this image on Kuhua St, the power grid at this point was not down. On the side of the power station, the cables were still on, or else people would not be walking so freely. Which leaves us with... what?

Questions I love to have answers to:

1. If the electrical substation was targeted, why & how?

2. The tree was burning from the ground up. If that was an energy weapon that targeted the electrical substation, how could it cause the tree trunk to burst into flames (ground up)?

Final thoughts

Most trees trunks in Lahaina didn't burst into flames. In fact many trees stayed standing while houses got demolished. If you look at the houses that were in Lahaina, the vast majority of them were build out of wood. That can explains the scale of the damage.

I still don't understand how and why the trunk of the tree closest to the electrical substation got ignited, while most trees were immune to the massive fire that destroyed the city and took the lives of so many people (RIP).
