The Fundamental Question
The most important question you can ask yourself, and that could change your life.
By Ehden Biber
The most fundamental question we can ask ourselves is whether a life based on truth is better than life based on lies. That’s it.
We all lie to ourselves. All the time. Those who say “I never lie to myself” are the biggest self-liars. Lying is an evolutionary process that was developed and observed in nature. Lying is when a being is refusing to accept that its own perception of reality is not in line with the reality, and operate according to a lie. Lying exists because it can give you advantages, however the most fascinating fact is that it always starts with self-deception. We lie to ourselves before we lie to others.
It might seem obvious to all of us that we would rather choose a life based on truth, but since life’s complexities are so immense, it is easier for us to continue a path of lies rather than truly face the truth. Again, those who claim that they don’t lie are the ones who are trapped the most. The entrapment can be viewed as the ego’s perceptions of meaning, and its inability to integrate the reality. For example, the ego can be triggered and make us experience fear, which is the ego’s meaning of the sensation of alertness. If the ego is controlling the experience, we are unable to let go and allow the right hemisphere to integrate new information by being in the now.
The now is where the truth lies
The truth is that the choice of truth and love is the only way to escape a life full of suffering. It is the path to experiencing the now, and in that now, to experience the truth without the entrapment of the ego, and to integrate new information that will allow us to prevent suffering, which is a result of being entrapped in your ego and experiencing pain. The freedom from suffering lies within the path we choose, whether it is to choose truth and not lies, or to allow lies to taint our perception of reality so much that we end up entrapped in a play that we are even unaware we are trapped in.
The world around us is collapsing, a controlled demolition of our countries and our cultures. Freedom, privacy, “democracy” are vanishing from our lives while we are being dragged from one crisis to another. Our governments lie to us. It is time for us to stand for the truth, with love. You are not alone, and we are the ones whom they are afraid most. If your heart calls you to choose for the truth, know that you are so loved, and so welcome. If there is any way I can help, write a comment, I’ll do my best to reply.
Do not be a slave: not to your ego, and not to the ego of others. Let your ego be the slave of the truth from a place of deep love, and experience the divinity of your true self in the now.
Say to yourself: “They cannot destroy us. The truth always wins. Love always wins. Freedom always wins. My consciousness is free, I am not a slave, and I will not allow anyone to enslave me, because a slave is a one who choses to live a life of lies, and I choose to live a life of truth, for only the truth can set me free from a life of suffering.”
I am the LOVE that is YOU

Thank you so much Ehden for this reminder to us all!
Thank you, Ehden. I choose truth and love. And agree that we need to be truthful to ourselves first. Working on it!!
I wrote this as part of a response to someone who called me a liar today:
It's sad there are people who want to vilify and divide. We can disagree and still find answers together.
